Rare Brazilian Blackheart wood yo-yo, #2026-074

New, never played with and one-of-a-kind.

DLC makers mark on one side of this brilliantly figured, exotic and very rare Brazilian Blackheart (aka: Pau Santo or Zollernia spp).

100% handmade and lathe turned here in my Colorado shop, from a solid block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with a "nickel" width (~2 mm) string gap. The wood axle on this piece is naturally very slick...you may need to double loop or "bind" return, as it tends to play unresponsive. Superb sleeper that is perfectly balanced, and a truly smooth spinner. Measures about 2.25" x 1.30" and weighs in at a hefty 82 grams (with string).
