The rarest of woods, hard to find and even harder to import...Argentine Lignum Vitae (aka: The Tree Of Life), with DLC maker's mark on one side.
100% handmade and lathe turned here in my Colorado shop, from a solid block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with a "nickel" width (~2.0 mm) string gap for responsive play, but sleeps easily as well (slick axle). Perfectly balanced, and a true and very smooth spinner. Measures a small-ish 2.10" x 1.30" and weighs in at 65 grams (with string).
