Moonrise over Japanese Garden scene, with Davidson LatheCraft maker's mark, laser engraved onto each side of the deep concave surfaces on this New England hard Maple.
Completely handmade and lathe turned from a single block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with "nickel" width (~2mm) string gap for responsive play. Perfectly balanced and a smooth player. Measures about 2.25" x 1.50" and weighs in at a lightweight 36 grams (with string).
