Modest Davidson LatheCraft (DLC) maker's mark, laser engraved onto one rim of this deeply concave surfaced Brazilian Purpleheart.
Completely handmade and lathe turned from a single block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with "nickel" width (~2mm) string gap for responsive play. Perfectly balanced and a smooth player. Measures about 2.27" x 1.45" and weighs in at 46 grams (with string).
