This is the first 3-piece yo-yo I've made from scratch in over ten years. And it is one of a kind.
Laser engraved DLC maker's mark on one side of this beautiful, rare and exotic obsolete (no longer made) Italian ColorPly laminated African Obeche wood, with deep concave side turnings.
Completely handmade and lathe turned three piece design. Fixed 1/4" walnut axle, with "nickel" width (~2.mm) string gap for responsive play. Very well balanced and a super smooth player. Measures about 2.25" x 1.50 and weighs in at a nimble 37 grams (with string).
