The rarest of woods, hard to find and even harder to import...Southeast Asian Amboyna Burl, with DLC maker's mark.
100% handmade and lathe turned here in my Colorado shop, from a solid block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with a "nickel+" width (~2.2 mm) string gap for responsive play, but sleeps easily as well. Perfectly balanced, and a true and very smooth spinner. Measures a small-ish 2.00" x 1.35" and weighs in at 51 grams (with string).
