My first ever art deco design on a yo-yo, laser engraved onto each convex side of this New England baseball bat factory hard Maple, with DLC maker's mark.
100% handmade and lathe turned here in my Colorado shop, from a solid block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with a "nickel" width (~2 mm) string gap for responsive play. Perfectly balanced, and a true and smooth spinner. Measures about 2.30" x 1.40" and weighs in at 48 grams (with string).
