Modest laser engraved DLC maker's mark on one side of the deep concave side surfaces of this beautiful SpectraPly.
Brake holes surrounding the axle help center the string in the gap channel, and enable a very smooth return.
Completely handmade and lathe turned from a single block of laminated wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with "nickel" width (~2mm) string gap for responsive play. Perfectly balanced and a silky smooth player. Sleeps well too, and returns with a slight tug. Measures about 2.25" x 1.50" and weighs in at 52 grams (with string).
