Modestly laser engraved DLC maker's mark on one side of this beautifully colored, figured and very rare Southeast Asian Afzelia Burl.
Completely handmade and lathe turned from a single block of wood, with no glue holding the sides and axle together. Fixed axle, with a "nickel" width (~2 mm) string gap for responsive play, but it does sleep easily and returns with a slight string pull. Perfectly balanced spinner that is a pleasure to throw. Measures about 2.25" x 1.30" and weighs in at 66 grams (with string).
